I have UD 8.0 w/ watermark'd theme and when i wake the phone up after it has been sleeping for a while about half the time it will have some serious lag when switching screens or trying to do anything basically. if the screen is off for a short period of time the phone is really snappy and works fine, only have issues when its off for more than about 10 min. i have tried about 6 different kernels of Chevy's to no avail. Anybody have any suggestions??

try the screeen redraw thread.
Tried that, seemed to help for about 30 min or so, but i don't think it really did anything since when i cleared the cache using titanium backup, it stated that no unnecessary files were present..

what launcher/home do you use?
i use launcher pro and i find it weird that the icons on the dock are immediately re-drawn

i wonder what makes those icons different then the rest? why not make the whole screen the dock..........

Thanks, that would be awsome if you find anything, i really like how this rom looks but if it keeps this up i'll have to change to something else because it is very annoying after a few days.

What do you have the lowest set at in set cpu? I read somewhere if you have it set up to 250 or below that the phone can have some lag trying to wake up, especially when a phone call comes in. I have mine set to 1000 high and 400 low with ondemand.

Not sure if this helps or even works but just throwing it out there for you.

i have mine set up for 250-1100 ondemand, i have tried setting 400 for the low end but it didn't seem to really make a difference. Thanks though

What happens if you set it up all the way to 1100 or 1200 and put it on performance? Does it still lag when waking it up?

i have not tried that one yet, but i do have the widget for setcpu on my screen that displays the current cpu speed which will read 1100 MHz while the screen is unresponsive or else really choppy. so i am kinda inclinded to believe that it doesn't have anything to do with cpu speed but i have been wrong before.

I had this problem running the packaged ADW also. I cleared the dalvick cache and it helped tremendously.

tried that and it didn't do much, did you use titanium or root explorer and delete the whole file manually?? also it seems that if i unlock and wait for a few seconds it works pretty good, probably just gonna wait and hope that UD9 doesn't have the same issue.
