Smart Actions Bug: can't select contact when there is more than one phone number

If there is more than one phone number associated with a contact, I can't select the contact for any of the actions that require a contact (e.g. VIP contacts when the ringer is on silent, contacts to send a text to). If there's just one phone number, no problem. But if it's multiple phone numbers (work, home, mobile) - and the VIP contacts ALWAYS have multiple phone numbers - I can't select them. That makes these features unusable for me, and I want them. Please fix!!
