Smart actions. Data connection not turning on.

I had smart actions to turn off data connection when my display is off to save battery. But when I turn display on it takes forever for data connection to turn on if it comes back on at all. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there any way to make the the data connection turn on faster?

Have had the same problem, have to switch to Airplane mode on/off real quick to get it back. Orr just delete Data off in the Trigger.

Oh & if you just hit the Power button before you goto bed & goto Sleep, that saves the battery just the same, & wakes up really quick with Data On...but you have to remember to do this every night.
