smart actions like app

Coming from a Razr I LOVED the smart actions app. I could have it auto turn off wifi while at work to conserve battery and numerous other things.

Is there anything out there that works like that and will function with the Note 2? The biggest benefit I would use it for right now would be to put the phone on vibrate and turn off gps/wifi while at work based on time like I had with the Razr. nothing worse then forgetting to silence the phone and it going off in a meeting. Thankfully I have not put on any ringtones that would offend yet....

Take a look at Actions Pro or Tasker in the play store.

Another option is NFC tags. Program the tags to do the actions and stick it to your desk. You just have to remember to pass the phone over the tag.

nfc tags wont work as I do not always get to my desk before being called into someone's office.

Out of Actions Pro or Tasker which one is better? Tasker is double the price but it is double the app? I dont mind paying $7 for an app if it is work it but with the test period in the play store so short now looking for recomendation on that front.

I don't have an opinion, never used them. I had only heard good things about both. Actions Pro in the description says if you don't like it and email them in 24 hours they will refund. That might make them the one to try first.

Tasker is the more powerful app of the two, but Actions Pro has a simpler user interface that will be easier for most people to use.

And I use automateit which is similar to smart actions but can do more than SA.

I use phone schedule and it works perfect for my needs...I use it for sound, wifi, mobile data, and bluetooth...
