sms ringtone plays during phone call

When ever i'm speaking on the phone with someone, and i receive an sms, the sms ringtone plays over and over while, im speaking on the phone, and cannot hear the person im speaking to. Wohld anyone help, this started happening after the new update. On my Galaxy S2..
