Droid X running rooted .596 GB.
Using DroidX Overclock app, set to 'low voltage 1.15ghz'

I had used QuickClock Advanced before and it took my phone to a stable 1.4ghz but I didn't leave it. I prefer extended battery life, and my current settings with DX Overclock seems to be helping.

I am interested to see what thresholds anyone else has set on their phone to help with battery life, as I may tweak mine further.

I had mine over clocked to 1.3 all day yesterday with the preset that's on DROID overclock it lasted all day but I didn't use it much and when I woke up with it on the charger all night it was at 111 degrees so im going back to undervolting the stock settings I really don't see any improvement speed wise overclocking

i did when it first came out. but i dont think i have in 7 or 8 months to be honest. there is no real point, the DX is FAST. i have no lag whenever i do something. besides the point, it overheats when its stock

Mine is OC at LV 1.3 with screen on and/or charging.
It's UC at LV 800 with screen off or above 111 degrees.

However 90% of the time im underclocking.

I do it in the hopes that it helps performance, not to show off to friends. The only friends I've shown it to are the ones who have android devices and I'm trying to get them to root.
