Software 2.1 Confusion Help!!

ok i currently have 2.1 OS Build ESD56. whats with the new 2.1 software coming out? i dont get it ? is it a new version updated version of it ?:motdroidvert:

Might wanna check again...If you're not rooted (If you don't know what it means, you're not), you're probably actually on Software verion 2.0.1. 2.1 is a whole other ballgame. That update hasn't come to the Droid yet, but some devs have gotten their hands on some of the different (trial) versions of the update and have created roms (basically, software to replace the 2.0.1 operating system)
