Sold Droid - How to Prepare for Seller?

I have sold my Droid (purchased a Fascinate) and I want to "clean" the phone for delivery to seller. I have removed all personal data from the sd card and removed various applications. The phone is rooted with UD v8. How can I "unregister" the telephone from Google so that my calendar and email are not downloaded to the phone? I want to keep the phone rooted but if I do a factory reset won't it remove root as well?

google accounts is what you want to delete, under accounts and sync. Also plug your phone into pc or laptop and enable usb, select import pics to see if you really have everything gone. On my 3rd droid and every refurb has had surprises. To really make sure do factory reset/wipe and than re root for the person, will be clean and the person will have to set up sign in with own google account.
