Some Project Fi Customers Who Also Order the Nexus 6 Received a Welcome Kit With Extra Stuff

Apparently, Google is rewarding a limited number of new users to their Project Fi service if they also purchased a Nexus 6 with their new service. According to the report, some number of new Project Fi customers who also ordered a new Nexus 6 with their service have received a fancy welcome kit that includes some cool loot!

Several folks have reported receiving the Welcome Kit which includes the Nexus 6 and SIM card, as well as a pair of earbuds, a case, and a 6000mAh external battery pack. Google has indeed confirmed that it is shipping out a limited number of these welcome kits, but they didn't indicate how many, nor how long they will continue it.

According to my order page I am also getting a welcome kit but I already purchased a Nexus 6 from Tmobile. Should be arriving tomorrow.

I'm 99 percent sure it is as the weight per FedEx is 2lbs, and that cant be just a sim card and some papers lol

Nope, just the one from Tmobile. I already activated it. I did get an email from Google saying Welcome to you new Nexus 6.
