Some reason my phone wont charge anymore from USB wall jack

I even plugged it into computer. the green light on. but a message flashes on the screen after a while that say battery is low.

I dont know whats going on

Sounds like a hardware issue. Have you tried a different wall charger.

yes. I plugged my usb cord into my ipad wall jack. still wont charge.

also tried plugging it into the charger of my mom's old phone (wasnt a smart phone , but the charger fit the socket) that did nothing (but it had no USB at all. was direct cord to wall socket)

it just started charging after all this time. I just put it in. sometimes it will charge. most times it wont.

Almost sounds like a loose connection somewhere.
