someone help!! i have a problem downloading apps

someone plz help. ther r a whole bunch of apps that dont install for some reason. some apps work and some apps dont. when the apps installation fails it gives me this notice "unknown reason-18". what does this mean and how can i fix it. thx in advance.

I am using the New Market... I'm not rooted and I have the original Moto Droid.
My system is the new 2.2.1.

Thank you so much any help you can give. I also tried clearing the data and casch for the apps I was trying to update.

Can you uninstall them and reinstall? Did it just start when you started using the new market? Can you give me one of the apps?

ok, tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Was unable to reinstall the app either. I'm using one of my kids' apps, Draw! as a test subject.

I also went into Market in apps and uninstalled the update. That did not help either.

Ok so I just downloaded the free version and no problems. Did you get the new market from verizon? Or did you install your self?

idk i just updated it to 2.2.1 on my moto droid one and i had the problem b4 i was rooted. wat do i do plz help.
