1) HOw do I protect it
2) How do I sick the police on them?

I am mad!!!

What do you mean it was trying to break the password and dial?

Lay off the egg nog dude, think its gettin to ya :icon_eek:

If your phone was acting up, it was a glitch of some sort, it wasnt being remotely controlled. Or being used by a ghost.

Was it connected to a charger? There have been widespread issues with the original Droid acting "possessed" while connected to a non-standard charger. Do a Google search for "droid is possessed" and you will get a bunch of hits, such as this one, which sounds similar to what you observed. It may not have been a hacker at all. I'm not sure but maybe the non-standard charger issue has persisted into the D2?

+1 on the charger thing. I have heard unbelievable numbers of stories like this one that end up boiling down to paranoia and an after market charger.
