Song randomly playing?

Just fyi, I've searched and i couldn't find anything... Does anyone else know why a song from the music on my card might randomly start playing? Only thing I think it could be is when I have both unchecked emails and texts, since that's the only thing that seems to be in common two of the times this has happened. Thankfully it's picked a rather gentle song and not something aggressive, but it's not cool when you get woken up in the middle of the night. lol I've checked all my settings and I can't seem to find anything to unselect this.

No Alarms are set? Check the notification bar to see if some sort of message or other notification has come in. If it is really annoying and you don't mind the hassle you can reset the phone too. How long have you had the phone for and did it recently start or has it done it for a long time?

I have the same problem every now and then when i flash a new rom. It'll randomly pick a song as a notification for a random program, usually notifications

Mine does it when I get into my Ford car with Sync.

The car must send the phone some kind of signal to begin a song. Do you have anything talking to your phone like sync, bluetoooth, laptop?

Sorry for taking so long to reply. No, nothing "talking" to it. I think I figured it out though. It seems to be a notification for Facebook. I've only noticed it so far when I get a notification for a private message. I've gone into the FB apps and I can't seem to find a way to turn this off. The song it's chosen is "No One" by Alicia Keys and I'm tempted to delete it off my phone, but I'm kinda worried the phone would then choose for a notification. Don't need to be woken up by Rammstein at 4 am. lol

I've had the phone for two weeks now and I first noticed it doing this the day after I got it. The first week I was still learning how the thing worked and the icons, so I couldn't figure out what the deal was.

I had that happen too, only on Facebook app. I just ended up going to FB preferences and changed it to silent mode... Strange because I don't remember setting it to any particular song in the first place. ????

Mine did this a few months ago. It decided that a full MP3 was chosen as a notification sound. Ended up choosing a short sound and it has not done it again. Funny thing was, it was just a random song I never would have used as a ringtone or notification sound.

Thats what mine did, but only after I changed the skin to "Music Lover".
Changed them now though.
