The Sony Xperia PLAY hasn't hit the stores yet but it has been up for pre-order for a few days now. Amazon and Wirefly are both stepping up their game in an attempt to beat Verizon’s price of $200 with contract, though, and have discounted prices accordingly. Specifically, Amazon has dropped the price for new accounts to just $100, and upgrades are $150. Wirefly has pegged both prices at $150, but hopefully they reflect Amazon’s lower price in order to stay competitive. Then again, Wirefly includes a $25 Android Market Card and free backup service for life.

No word on how long Amazon will keep the price at $100, but waiting to find out may not be a great idea. Be sure to hit the source and join up if you plan on getting one of these bad boys! ;)

To bad I had to sell my DX because I need to cutback on the spending.

Thought WIFI only was an option.

Thanks

I can't imagine this costing more than that. When you pick it up is feels to light, plastic, and small that you could snap it in half.

It'll be $199 at VZW.... It's too bad it's not LTE.... That could make mobile internet gaming AWESOME. I guess they want their battery to last longer than 10 minutes though.
