Sony just this morning dispelled all of the interesting rumors regarding their Xperia Z4, and disappointed fans everywhere. They officially unveiled the new Xperia Z4 for the Japan market only, and it doesn't actually have an all-metal body or a finger print sensor. Here's what it does have:
- 5.2-inch Full HD IPS display (same one found on the Xperia Z3) - includes the ten finger multi-touch, shatter-proof glass, Triluminos display and X-Reality Engine
- Updated Octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor
- 3GB RAM
- 32GB storage
- A microSD card to expand storage up to 128GB (combined in SIM slot)
- 20.7MP rear camera (same one found on the Xperia Z3, with all the same bells and whistles
- 5.1MP front facing camera
- Android 5.0 Lollipop
- IP68 Water Resistance (with cap-less USB port)
While the specs are admittedly top-notch, it feels like simply "more of the same" from them. What do you guys think of Sony's strange way of doing things this year?
Thanks for the tip, @bkdodger!
