The iPhone 6S and 6S Plus were the big tech-world news announcement yesterday, and already Apple is being targeted by their competitors with barbs flying from multiple angles. The funniest one we found was a particularly Trollish tweet from the folks at Sony.
Of course the Japanese tech titan decided to use the moment to plug their new Sony Xperia Z5 smartphone, and they did it by mocking the battery life of the new iPhones. The tweet actually used the same graphic from Apple's opening event day web landing page, and then posed the following humorous question: "Hey Siri, what about the battery life?" Switch to Sony. The Tweet also points out that you can get up to 2 days of battery life from the new Sony phone.
Sony was even clever enough to include a link in their Tweet that lands on an easy way for Apple iPhone users to switch to a Sony Android phone. This indirectly mocked Apple yet again, since Apple "advertised" something similar (in reverse) at their press event for the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. Nice moves Sony!
Now, if you can just get folks to actually switch to your device, that would be awesome! We would love to see Sony start gaining in Android marketshare again!
