Sony shared its new mobile tech at IFA this year. They are introducing three new Android smartphones soon. One of them is their newest flagship, and the others are designed to fill out the mid-range and the budget categories. Here's a breakdown of the three new devices:

Xperia T (Sony's new flagship) -
  • 4.6-inch HD Display
  • A whopping 13-megapixel camera
  • 1.5GHz dual-core processor
  • LTE 4G
  • NFC
  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, (but will soon see Android 4.1 Jelly Bean)
Xperia V (Their mid-range device, although should remain very competitive) -
  • The same 1.5GHz dual-core CPU in the T
  • Smaller 4.3-inch display
  • 13-megapixel camera
  • Water-resistant skin and meets international IP55 and IP57 protocols for durability
  • LTE 4G
  • Android 4.0/Ice Cream Sandwich, (also will get Jelly Bean soon)
Xperia J (their budget-friendly device)
  • 4-inch screen
  • 5-megapixel camera
  • 1GHz CPU
  • Unfortunately not much else is revealed
The Xperia T looks pretty enticing, although it's hard not to get a bit more excited about the Sony Xperia Nexus we heard about previously. Share your thoughts.

Probably not going to happen, but Xperia T should go to VZW. Why isn't Sony lineup offer by VZW is beyond me. Absolutely great physical design

^^. I've always wondered the same thing. Great designs... why wouldn't Big Red want them?

Something to do with dealings years ago. The XPERIA Play was verizons first SE device in almost 10 years. I don't think SE was really wanting to work the CDMA market, and wanted to stick with GSM devices. With LTE becoming the norm, and verizon being the largest LTE provider here in the states, hopefully they'll change.

if the V was actually smaller than the T, not just a smaller screen and bigger bezel, I'd take a serious look at it. Would love a smaller phone with the big phone specs

Wait if VZW is not taking them, who is?

This is for the international market.
