soon to be new android user. droid x2 or thunderbolt

hello everyone

i am a new soon to be android user and i just can't decide between the droid x2 or the thunderbolt. i do have lte in my area so i wasn't sure if i should just go for the thunderbolt so i can get grandfathered in on the unlimited service

any help would be greatly appreciated

It would probably be a good idea to go to the store and play with both of them and decide for yourself, but with that said, I'd get the Thunderbolt for a few reason:

1. LTE, and as you said, you'll be locked in for the remainder of you're contract. May as well take advantage of unlimited 4g while it lasts, it won't be here long.

2. I don't like Motoblur, much prefer Sense

3. HTC released the source code for the TB, it's doubtful Moto will do the same for DX2.

the unlimited service would be applicable regardless of what phone you get until an official tiered data plan is rolled out, the real question you should be wondering is which phone you like the feel of better, and also if you would utilize LTE or not.
