Sorry that video cannot be played error

Ok, so I get this really annoying video cannot be played error often. I'm just trying to playback a video that I shot with this phone. Sometimes they play, sometimes they don't. A reboot usually fixes it, but it's really annoying when I want to show someone a video to have to stand there for two minutes and wait for the phone to restart. Any ideas? Happens with music files too, both using the stock player and double twist.
