Sound will not work on torrents when played on my Razr ???

Need some help here if possible.
I use aTorrent on my Razr and after torrents are dl'd they play and look great but I cant get sound to work. The volumne button only turns up the ringer decible while video is palying the torrent file and I know the media volumne is already all the way up.
I also ran it through the HDMI cable into my TV and no sound there as well.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Soft reset? I've had videos that played sound but no video. I did a battery pull and it worked fine afterwards.

Ok how do I do a soft reset on this phone? The battery is non removable correct? Im kind of a noob to really getting into these phones. Had a droid since they came out but I am just realizing how awesome and capable they are! Just starting to explore the full capabilities of these things

I just finished installing the new update and dl'd a different torrent. Still cannot get any sounds out of the torrents when playing on the phone no matter what i do.
