Soundboard audio file, how do you stop it?

Hi all, I got a soundboard app that has buttons you press that lists the file description and has a microphone icon. When you press the audio button the audio starts. The only problem is, how do you stop the audio? I tried pressing the menu button, but there weren't any options that popped up. How do you stop the audio from playing on any soundboard for that matter? It's weird that when you play an audio file from a soundboard, a media panel doesn't pop up so you can pause, FF, REW, etc. One of the soundboards was more vulgar than I thought, so when I played a file and the f bombs started flying, I tried to stop it, and all I could do was turn down the volume and apologize to a family in the middle of church :icon_ devil: If you press the power button, or press the home or back button, the files keeps right on playing.

Any thoughts, what am I missing here, probably something simple, right?
