How many speakers does the bionic have? Is that a speaker by the 8mp camera?

Above the rear camera...no, its a microphone to capture the sound on video.

It actually does have a speaker right above the camera. The mic is the small hole to the right of the camera

Negative.. you're right about that noise cancelling mic in the little hole but that grill around the camera ain't nuthin but trim... it showed on the bionic tear down video... no speaker located there

Where is this video? Sound comes out of the silver mesh on the top of my camera when watching YouTube. Not trying to be a dick or anything just don't want to pass on wrong info in the future.

Don't remember where i saw the video ... but here's the complete teardown with pictures... you were probably hearing the sound from the other speaker leaking out from under the battery door... try it with the battery door off and the volume turned down lower
