speeding up 3G?

Is there any way to speed up the dx 3G speed? i heard d2 has a program that unthrottles your phone i tried it and it didnt do anything...
 
Same here tried it and no different speeds . Its a network limitation due to back haul I do believe. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

I Unthrottled a week ago and I don't notice much difference at all

From my Liberated DROID2 at 1.25ghz
 
The only thing I noticed is increase battery drain. My battery seems to be dying faster since I unthrottled. But I could be wrong...

The unthrotteling hack isn't intended to make the 3g from Verizon upload/download at unheard of speeds, its intended to keep Verizon from slowing down your connection if/when you use what they deem to be a lot of data per day or per month. The 3g speed of a cdma network is pretty much set and there isn't much you can do to speed it up, only prevent it from being slowed down.

I was talking about spider saying his battery seemed worse and i usually do a calibration when doing any modifications or flashing a rom. There is a free app called battery calibration that Is awesome
