spontaneous collage???

As soon as I changed from droid 2 to droid 3, my gallery suddenly had a collage of my pics as some sort of home screen

what is this ? and how can I remove it?

That's the new gallery, I don't think you can even get rid of the collage. People have been using 3D gallery from the market as a replacement.

Yeah, welcome to the worlds worst gallery app! Get quickpic or 3D gallery, they are both good. 3D gallery is exactly like the OG Droid gallery.

When I go into gallery it shows peoples updated pics from facebook And I hate it. How do I get it not to show that and go back to showing the collage??!
