Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S6 on Sprint have some welcome news for today. They are finally getting Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on their devices. The download is huge at 1235.87MB. The build number version is G920PVPU3CPB6.
The new update includes several addons beyond what is found in Marshmallow. These include: Doze mode for lower battery consumption, a new app permission system, and Google Now on Tap.
There is one important note in the changelog. There is no decryption option in Android 6.0. Because of this you should probably decrypt your phone before you install the update. Otherwise you risk getting stuck with an encrypted device permanently. To do this, you just go to Settings » Lock screen and security » Other security settings.
