Apparently, NyanDroid wasn't the only Easter Egg hidden in Android 4.0/Ice Cream Sandwich. Some savvy developers found another one hidden in the OS. This one is a Star Wars-like launcher/mini-game, called "Rocket Launcher." The stock launcher for ICS had this one buried inside. Here is a quote with a more detailed description,
You can see in the video above they use LauncherPro to launch this second launcher....this Star Wars-like icon flinger is hidden from the regular app drawer straight up Aliens-style, and the only way to fire it up is to utilize a special method of calling an Android Activity by its name.
Here is the really interesting "plot-twist" though... according to AndroidPolice' update to their own story, Steve Kondik of the Cyanogenmod team, informed them, that neither NyanDroid, nor this new Rocket Launcher are actually Easter Eggs. In fact, they are actually part of a new screensaver feature called "Android Dreams" that was simply disabled temporarily by Google to work out some kinks, but found and re-enabled in CM9.
This means that developers have still not found the real Easter Egg(s) in ICS yet (if there is any)... :icon_eek:
