sticky slider

first off, I HAVE read the thread on phone wetness. It didnt help me in my dilemma. i spilled some mountain dew on the slide-out part of the motorola droid. phone still works perfectly fine, but the slide, obviously does not slide smoothly. any ideas on how to un-stick it?

tried 91% alcohol and condensed air; to no avail.

I had the same prob. Goo Gone worked wonders for me. I put a little in the tracks and slid it back several times. Problem solved. I would try this with the phone off. Dont' get any down inside the keyboard.
