If you want to force the update, go to the threads that tell you how. If not, be patient.

In the first 24 hours, vzw pushed 10,000 updates. From now until the conversion is finished, they will push 200,000 per day. With over 2,000,000 Droids (they say), it'll be 10 plus days until it's complete. You're probably last.

lol there has been news about this yesterday. there's going to be a 24hr dead day, meaning wednesday, and there won't be any update pushed.

good thing you're on this forum cause someone linked the update to manually install it.

According to your profile, you have an LG Dare. This 2.1 update is only for the Moto Droid.

This made me LOL, thanx for the laugh.

To the OP, seriously? Just download the update.zip file and follow the instructions to load it through recovery mode onto your Droid. It's the exact same update that you will have to wait for OTA, just instant gratification.

I went from 2.0 to 2.01 using the update.zip method and it is easy.

I have not gotten the OTA yet and I'm not going to do it manually, from what I have seen, there's really nothing to excited about. The update I am really looking forward to is the 2.2.03a update, that's the one that is going to change the world as we know it.
