Stock Alarm/Timer notification sounds

How come the stock Alarm/timer on the device has such a limited number of choices under "Ringtones" when there are so many choices under "Ringtones" for a contact? How can I get access in the Alarm/Timer to all these other Ringtones?

The answer is simply this, its the file are that your phone looks for ringtones for contacts vs the area that it looks in for your alarm clock. To by pass this I pit all of my ringtones in a sub folder in my media folder on my sdcard-ext. Then they should all be available to you.

Also your device may have amnesia.... I'm not sure... mine did. Had to do a factory reset and it cured it.
