Hi Guys,
Looking for suggestions out what I want to achieve. Here goes..

I have the following equipment:
1) Laptop
2) Projector
3) HP Widi Adapter
4) Samsung S7

I have the laptop projected its screen through wirelessly (adhoc connection) to the HP Widi Adapter that is connected to the projector.

When it comes to the phone I can project the screen via the same way as above to the projector.

Now here comes the interesting part. When phone connects to VPN for an app, adhoc wireless looses it connection which is supposed to happen.

My question is there a way I can hook the the phone to the laptop via USB and project the screen from the phone to the laptop?

Any way of doing this.?

Samsung has an app. I believe it is called Side Sync. Can be used by USB or over wifi.
