Stuck at 902 phone is now unreliable

I'm stuck at 902 everytime i try the ota it fails I want to get the new ics ota so i can have the updated radios. So i tried to use rsd lite and flash the 902 fxz file but everytime i try it says failed to boot into fast boot mode or something like that even though the does go to the fast boot menu. Can someone please point me in the right direction I'm not a noob but definitely not a master thanks for any help

You should be able to flash .246 straight from 902 in rsd but you need to make sure all drivers are up to date and make sure you are using data cable from bionic. I had same problem I was trying to use my data cable from my Droid 4 dug out my bionic one and flashed on 1st try after that.
