Stuck in Bootloop and No Recovery NEEED HELP please!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so basically i updated to the the ultimate droid Froyo rom didnt like it and was like screw this im just going to update to the new SS 4.2 rom

i downloaded the 2.2 rom and hit wipe and back up existing rom when i did that it did neither in the recovery bascially just did a reboot and now im stuck in a bootloop almost where my bootanimation is stuck on the screen while my droid is stil running

and i also cant use the x power option to open into recovery it just sits in the motorola sign and wont go into recovery

im so stuck and so scared i broke my droid please help!:icon_eek:

one last question can i just install a 2.2 rom and it will give me root or do i need to install a 2.1 rom and then a 2.2 rom?
