Stuck in Reboot even after using nandroid recovery to a previous rom

I recently installed BBv1.1 over CM using RomManager (backed up my current rom and did a wipe data cache) BB was working fine and I installed all my apps no prob. I then decided to try to install the Blue energy theme over BB through the RM. I didn't perform a wipe data cache as I thought the blue energy theme was not a full rom and so I only did a rom backup. Well, my droid got stuck in a boot loop and I had to pull the battery(the only way that worked to power off) and I rebooted into recovery and then did a nandroid restore (back to CM). It did not work and my droid remains in a boot loop!! Please help, I'm stuck!!

boot into recovery, do a date and cache wipe then do another restore.

I think the question tha keeps coming up that nobody really seems to answers is that if you are stuck in a boot loop and you can get out of it, what buttons do you hold down on the ally when you power it on to go into the recovery mode? Because that is the problem Im having and nobody can seem to answer that for me.

Hold down the call, menu, and the end button and a menu should pop up.
