Stuck widget

Somehow the google search widget got stuck at the top of the screen on my motorola droid. When I touch it the shortcut menu pops up and it goes dark, and I don't get any haptic feedback. If I touch the search softkey nothing I get the virtual keyboard but it doesn't type into any field. Also, I can't grab it to move it down to the delete tray. Please help, I love my search feature.

Stock phone?

Have you rebooted to see if that helps?

You also can stop the task in menukey/settings/applications/manage apps/menukey-filter-all apps/google search (enhanced) / Force Stop and see if that helps.

Never mind. I took the battery out and put it back in and everything went back to normal. As far as I can tell the maneuver didn't change any settings or lose any apps. Thanks for being there.
