Stupid Email Question (Sorry!)

I have my phone set to vibrate and I received an email and my phone vibrated, the led started blinking, and it showed up in my notification bar, cool no problem.

I didn't go to check my email because i was busy, and my phone vibrated again, and showed another notification message. So I assumed that i had gotten another NEW email.... i was WRONG! It kept vibrating and showing up in my notification bar like it was set as a REMINDER... I finally checked my phone after the third reminder and I only had 1 new email, at which point I almost threw my phone at the wall!

So how can i turn this "reminder" like annoyance off?

PS Its a live.com email account, not gmail.

Keep in mind I am new here but check your email account and see if it is set as the default account.

That happened to me until I unchecked it as the default account.........

I also changed mine to never check for email.

I just manually check when I have the time, either of the above could have stopped it for me.

Hmmm... I guess everytime it checks for new emails it will vibrate, even though there are really no new messages... Lame :/

Get the MissedCall app off the market. It will let you adjust all your notifications and the 'remind' times/options.
