Im having a problem uninstalling swype completely. I had a rom issue but fixed that and now im trying to reinstall the swype beta but it says I must uninstall swype I've uninstalled from app manager and deleted the swype installer on my sd card via astro but it still shows swype as an option in the phone keyboard settings. Where else could swype be on the phone to uninstall?

Go to manage applications and then the all tab, is there anything in there labeled Swype (maybe the installer)?

You need to make sure that you uninstall both Swype and the Swpye Installer. It sounds like Swype has not been uninstalled if it's still an option.

Why not just not use it?
