Swype Being Deselected on Reboot...

Ok Squid, here is one for ya. I have loooked for an answer elswhere, but I haven't found anything yet. I'm running your latest rom, and I love it! I'm also one of those guys who likes to use Swype. After I flashed your rom (my first flash ever), I deleted the blur that I didn't want, and I downloaded the newest version of Swype from their beta website. (It was not previously installed) I installed it, and everything worked well...until I rebooted. Upon reboot, your stock keyboard was selected. I reselected Swype, and again, everything was fine...until I rebooted again. This time, not only was Swype unselected, it was also disabled in settings. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but each time I reboot, Swype is either unselected or disabled. Any ideas?

I'm having that issue running the leaked Gingerbread ROM and can't figure out why, but I did have that issue with the beta initially running FroYo. Check to see if it is installed on the SD Card, if it is, that is why. It finishes loading the SD card after it sets the keyboard.
If you do have it there, switch it to the internal memory (Via Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications -> Swype) set it as default, and reboot.

Wow, that worked! I should have thought of that before. Thanks a ton.

You're welcome... I struggled with that back in the day when I didn't realize it was being installed straight to sd :)
Wish I knew what was up with it now, but I can deal with it until a custom GB rom is finished... I'm looking forward to a squidly version, it's the only one I've found where the stock theme is perfect for me and the tweaks are just what I want :)
