Swype can steal passwords

Why do I get this warning message that states "ATTENTION this input method may be able to collect all the text you type, including personal data like passwords and credit card numbers. It comes from the application Swype. Use this input method?"

Am I the only 1 that's alarmed by that?:icon_eek:

This has been discussed to death in a few other threads. That warning message appears with any keyboard app because it has to take your input and do something with it...ie. when you type a password, it puts it on the screen.

Obviously every keyboard app is going to come up with that warning.

Noted, sorry for thread. Feel free to delete. I attempted search function for keyword password and came up w/ threads not dealing w/ Swype
