Swype install

Can anyone here tell me how to install a swype apk? Everytime I try it just says app not installed. All help is greatly appreciated. Oh and Im running rubix 197 with the dark android blue theme.

if you have root explorer, copy the apk and paste it into /system/app

long press and change the permissions so they look like this:

reboot, and then go to settings>language and keyboard. you should be able to select it under input method

I tried to use swype... I just cannot get the hang of it of the life of me. I just stick with regular text...
