i want instructions on how to INSTALL it. and yes i tried searching, no noob guides.
if anyone can help..i cant find the apk file on thru astro. how do i know if its on my sdcard? where do i copy the apk file? which folder under local drive c?

can you answer my questions personally? i tried those instructions and i cant get that apk file on my sd card..atleast i dont think. how do i put it on my sd card? its already unzipped, in apk which folder do i put it on?

O this is super n00b help then...umm you have the .apk file already im guessing on your computer right?

1. Disconnect your USB cable from the wall charger that came in the Motorola Droid box from Verizon Wireless.

2.Connect it to a free open port on your computer.

3.Connect it to phone by pushing it with your hand into the device.

4 . Enable USB storage thing from the notification panel on the phone.You will see the USB thingy on the computer pop up i think its generally drive E:? but varies by computer.

5.Once you open it/see the root/contents of your memory card drag and drop the .apk file to the memory card.( if you want you can make a folder named "Swype" to make it easier for you if you want).

6.Disconnect from computer,open Astro and navigate to the root/folder where you put the .apk in.

7.Click the Swype.apk and click install and it should install

i don't remember it being that difficult. in fact, i'm not sure i used a computer at all..

yea i have custom boot, roms for game/nesoid and i still cant do this without noob instructions, but hey i got it to work

Put it in the "home" (root) page of your sdcard. Open it through Astro and install.
