Sync contacts/facebook/etc.

I have been playing around a lot with my phone and important facebook information. When important contacts it made some duplicates of people, so as long as the number was correct I went ahead and deleted the old version, and kept the one which updates with facebook. Now there are some people that have their number listed via facebook, but it is not editable, and there is no number entered in the phone. Should I correct this so if I ever get a new phone the numbers transfer over?

Also...I have deleted some names that had just the email for the person, and put that email in with all the other information. Now that email has been deleted from my gmail contacts???

Still though any of the emails I have saved in peoples contacts are not being added to my gmail contacts list...is there a way to fix that?
