sync google calendar with iphone calendar

My wife uses an iphone and whatever the stock calendar it uses. I of course use the Rez and google calendar..... We would like it so that whenever one of us adds/edits an event to one of our calendars, it automatically shows up on the others. is this possible? Thanks

The iPhone supports Google Calendar via the Google Sync service to the iPhone calendar app, so it should be possible but I have never done it. This might help as well: Shiny Hacks: How To Share Google Calendar on iPhone, Blackberry and Android

This actually did not work. I get as far as adding the google cal account on the iphone. I get a prompt that ssl could not verify and do I want to to try without ssl, whether I say yes or no the account is not able to verify. I ended up finding a free app in itunes that will show my google calendar. For now this is fine.
