Sync Icon in Notification Bar

My sync icon in the notification bar will not go away. Anyone know why? I'm not sure how to check if my google account is being synced correctly, I don't think it's syncing correctly.

I had this problem after installing a rom and then a theme. What I did is I went into titanium backup pro and froze Contacts Sync 2.2 and the icon went away. Now I'm not saying that is your problem but it very well could be.

That's also the media share icon. Pull down your menu and see if that's it. If it is uncheck the box that asks you to be notified when you are near a wifi connection it should go away.
