Sync/Merge both my own & my wife's calendars on Droid

Is there a way for info I put on my calendar to be added to my wife's calendar and visa versa without having to type everything twice on each Droid. We both would like to know what the other is doing as far as work schedules are concerned. (they are different each week) I know you can share Google calanders with others but that will not enable us to have all the info for both of us on each of our calendars (I think).
Thanks

Yes, my wife and I do this. You need to share yours and she needs to share hers. Log into gmail and go to calendar in the top left corner. On the left it says my calendars with a settings link under it, click on it. Then when the new window loads you should have a calendar with you gmail address on it. To the right of this should be something about sharing click on it and add your wifes e-mail address. She will get an e-mail telling her that she needs to confirm this request. Just do the samething from here account and you both will have each others calendars.

Bueller here :)

I think what you're looking for is what I do with my wife, and between my wife and my mom.

Create a new google calendar and name it something appropriate. Then in the settings>Calendars tab click on the Calendar name you created. Then click on the share this calendar tab. Enter the email address of the person you want to share with (gmail is the easiest), and give them the Make changes and manage sharing permission, then save. They will be sent an invite.

Now both of you will see that calendar along with the calender they already had. You will see your and the new one, she will see hers and the new one. Both can add, edit, delete schedules, reminders, appointments and so forth.

I have four calenders, two for me, one between my wife and I, and one between my wife, my mom, and I. The family is always up to date with pertinent information.

Now my wife and I have droids (Moto for me, eris for her) and the calendars are automatically synced, so ANY changes made to the calendars via the phone or the PC, gets synced to the other objects.

It works great.

Hope this helps

To save a step, you don't need to do her's as well. Give her the right permissions and she'll automatically have access to the calendar.

We have to separate calendars. So I share mine and she shares hers. We didn't make a new one to share between us because we already had our own individual ones. What you are saying about creating a new one and giving the right permissions would do the same thing. We just do ours differently with the same result.

Ah, then you're right in your set up.

For me, I created a whole new calender specifically to populate with family events, because I can't remember worth a crap.
When I set up a calendar to share with Jo (AKA ball and chain :D), next to where I type in her email address, there's a drop down list of permissions. The first option is as if she created the calendar. Then when she views her calendars, she sees the one that both of you input to.

Here's a screen shot of the month showing the inputs for 4 calenders. Most of the green is my mom (though she doesn't see the other 3 calendars), red is my work (only I see it), the yellow is Jo and mine (only we see it), and the purple is my side work (only I see it).
Hope that helps.
