Sync

My droid will not stop syncing and i have already done the task killer and I have taken out the battery and it will start syncing again. I have shut off the google sync but it still happens and its wasting the battery. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Any idea what is syncing? Gmail, calendar, contacts?

I dont know what it is. I looked in the battery use section and the System is using 53% of the battery. Im stuck for answers.

There are quite a few things that can cause this. Maybe the most common thing is gmail. Check your gmail app's outbox. If there's a message in there, delete it and maybe try rebooting.

If there's no message in your outbox, try this:

go to phone Settings > Applications > Manage applications > menu > Filter > All > Gmail Storage > Clear data

Maybe try rebooting and let me know.
