I plugged my phone into the laptop. I accidentally hit sync instead of the other option I needed. Is it safe to assume that my photos and music is gone permanently?

Need more info. I do not get a "sync" option when I plug my D2 into computer no matter what USB connection type I choose. Only way I can sync is to use DoubleTwist or Mobisynapse apps.

Whenever it gets plugged into the laptop it has a notification at the top. When I click it it gives a few options. Pc mode, media sync, charge only and usb mass storage. I hit sync by accident and it deleted my pics music and ringtones.
