Syncing .edu email with Droid Pro

I'm having difficulty syncing my .edu email address with the Droid Pro. The email is via google apps, so I thought it would be easy to sync but I cant' get it to work. Can anyone share if they were able to sync theirs? Or any tips? Thanks.

Can you be a bit more detailed? What do you mean "The email is via google apps"? Are you saying you are trying to connect that way? Is your .edu hosted by google? The more detail you can provide the better chance someone here can assist.
