Sysctl, Noob Question

I'm sorry but what is the sysctl setting in Liberty.

What should my settings for it be?

I have been running liberty and love it, but are there any stock settings I should change?

I'm sorry I read more, I am just confused as to wether I should use the settings in Liberty or download the zip file people keep talking about and use bootstraper to install it.

Seems like people have done both with fine results. What do you suggest, and which link to the sysctl zip is the correct one?

Go to the website I have down below. Scroll down to the "i have a zip" part of the page and download the "DX" zip. Be sure that you're downloading version 4.2. Put the zip onto the root of your SD card and install with bootstrap, reboot and ur golden.

The experimental version sets some extreme settings for minfree. It changes the minfree setting for foreground_app, visable_app, and secondary_server from something like 2048,3072,6144 to 15000,20000,20000. This could potential cause issues with the low memory killer killing off things that could cause stability issues. I've been running these settings though for a few days now without any ill effect.

Only things that come to mind would be goto lockout screen and handcent popup sms... I'll give the original one a try when i get home from work tonight.

The experimental version is just different settings that the developer is testing. Feel free to use that version if you would like. Check back on that website once in awhile because it zip does get updated.
