did a recent dmesg in terminal and got this:

Code:
evdev: event1-1174: buffer overflow

this is event is listed several times, even after clearing out the syslog using the command dmesg -c ....

does anyone know what this is or what it's caused by ? if it's an app i need to find out which app is doing this. also want to know if this is going to be a problem for the phone by consuming power for a faulty/relooping process ...

I've seen the same thing on my phone using OSMonitor but looking at the processes window my CPU usage was almost zero except for the OSMonitor process. Today however I'm seeing my system process at 15-25% constantly. Trying to figure out what is causing it.

it looks like the 4 digit code changed a few times, today it lists 1170 ....
i really want to get to the bottom of this because it could be causing issues with the platform ....
