I did a search in the forums and didn't find anything on this. I have a Droid Incredible (Verizon) and ever since Nov/Dec I will periodically get a notification that the new system update is available (4.0._ I don't remember the exact number), and do I want to install now or later. I've tried installing this update at least 10 times. It is downloaded onto the phone (at least the phone tells me it is) but when it says the phone is "going to reboot, and it will take about 10 min", it just sits there and doesn't install/reboot. I've let it sit there for over an hour, and it doesn't do anything.
I've asked Verizon about it, and they suggested putting it into safe mode to install, which I did. I also moved a bunch of apps onto the SD card to free up space, and nothing works. Their only other suggestion was to restore it, and I'm not wiping all my info off of it for this.
Has anyone else had this happen, and if so, how do I get the update to install?
(I am due for a new phone in April, so at this point I'm not that worried about it, it's just annoying!)
Thanks!
